What my documentary is going to be about

As my documentary is about the water cycle I wanted to show throughout the documentary the journey of a piece of water all the way from when it springs at the source or falls from the sky to its journey down the course of a river all the way to the sea where it evaporates and starts the cycle all over again. Giving my documentary some sort of looping function would be a cool thing to have.

I'm currently trying to think of different ways in which I can show the water cycle. As inspiration, I've been watching other water documentaries and I think ill do it by having a set amount of time dedicated to each section of the cycle.
