Analysis of The Woman in Black opening scene
From watching the opening scene to the woman in black there are lots of great shots and small details that can easily go unnoticed by the viewer but overall form a great opening scene
I am going to analise my favourite shot from the opening.
during this shot the three girls stop what they are doing in a very sudden and destructive mannor. The camera then pans towards the three windows which the three girls have just stared at. The panning of the camera towards the window is really effective because it shows the girls attention being drawn towards the window. You as the watcher know exacliy what is going to happen from this point.
Another thing that i would really like to mention about the opening is the non diegetic sound specifically the music which does the perfect job of sounding like a off-tone creepy nursery ryme which really makes the scene feel scary.
